En la entrevista realizada para el curso historia de las matemáticas se relata los aportes más significativos de la civilización Egipcia, además de enfatizar en el filósofo matemático Pitágoras.

Esta se hace con una contadora pública a la cual se le realiza una breve presentación, después se pasa a preguntar  ¿Cuál fue el aporte más significativo de los egipcios para el desarrollo de las matemáticas? Ella muy segura contesta  que entre los aportes más significativos de esta civilización se encuentran el uso del sistema decimal, el calcular  las superficies de triángulos, trapecios y cuadrados; la resolución  de ecuaciones  algebraicas y el conocimiento del PI.

En segunda instancia  la entrevistada da su opinión personal sobre el aporte que ha dejado dicha civilización en su vida; expresando que el haber realizado el calendario de 365 días y doce meses basados en el movimiento del sol, no lo es in aporte importante para ella sino para toda la sociedad.

La entrevista continúa con una breve descripción  biográfica de Pitágoras, en la cual se resaltan los aspectos más esenciales de este personaje, tales como que fue un filósofo, matemático Griego, considerado el primer matemático puro; entre sus descubrimientos se encuentran el teorema de Pitágoras, la inconmensurabilidad del lado  y la diagonal del cuadrado.

Además expreso que él vivió entre los años 538 y 500 antes de nuestra era, él fue creía en la igualdad por tal razón  tenía entre sus seguidores  mujeres y esclavos. Nuevamente la entrevistada da su opinión personal sobre el aporte más significativo de Pitágoras para las matemáticas, para la cual ella resalta el teorema de Pitágoras y la división de los números naturales en pares e impares.

Para finalizar se agradece a la entrevistada por su colaboración dentro del proceso formativo de los estudiantes.
